Easy to grow mesemb from South Africa. These plants have dark green leaves with a rough texture. They have thick tuberous roots and are suitable for planting in shallow, bonsai-style pots.
Best sown at temperatures between 18 - 28 *Celsius. Seeds take between 6 - 30 days to germinate (depending on conditions)
This species grows most actively in autumn and spring, and should be given a short rest during the peak summer months. Red spider mites are fond of this species, keep an eye out for them, they can do a lot of damage in a short space of time!
