This Cheiridopsis is not as widely grown as some of the other species. Its not an easy species to flower and set seed on, so the seeds are not often available in the trade.
Quite a few of the plants I have seen circulating in European collections appear to be hybrids with C. pillansii.
C. glomerata flowers are quite peculiar, when they open they are a beautiful deep salmon red, as they mature they turn a rich dark magenta. Very attractive!
